Stop At: Dole Plantation, Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii

This is almost a must see especially if you don't know how pineapples grow. There is a large gift shop full of pineapple themed gifts. The highlight is the famous Dole Whip ice cream. There is also a train that goes around the plantation and the World's Largest Maze. We can spend as long or short as you want. My record length of time spent here is 3 hours but 30 to 60 minutes is an average time here to look around and get some ice cream.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Iolani Palace, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

The Palace is the only Palace in America because Hawaii at one time had a King and Queen. the Iolani Palace was used in the original Hawaii 5-0 series and Jack Lord would stand on the front porch making viewers think that was the 5-0 headquarters. We can drive by or stop for photos.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Waimea Bay, Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii

Waimea Bay is very popular both with locals and visitors as it is very scenic and you never know from one day to the next what the waves will be doing. At calm times swimmers are allowed to jump off the 25 foot rock or swim laps across the bay. Rough times you will see boogie boarders catching waves or see surfers sharpening their skills on waves that have gotten to 50 feet.

Duration: 30 minutes

Pass By: Sunset Beach Park, Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii

This is the second Beach used for the Van's Triple Crown of surfing contest. It can be seen just driving by which I often do but we can stop if you want.

Stop At: Waimea Valley, Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii

If you've ever wanted to walk through a Botanical Garden on a paved path and swim at the base of a 40 foot waterfall with water flowing down your head, THIS is the place to do it! Life jacks are provided. There is an admission fee and also a shuttle (For a fee.) if you don't want to walk.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Sharks Cove, Pupukea, Oahu, Hawaii

Don't let the name of this place scare you. If you ever wanted to snorkel in a protected, shallow aquarium and see all kinds of fish, THIS is the place to do it! Snorkel gear is provided at no extra cost by Hawaii Convertible Tours.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Ehukai Beach Park, Pupukea, Oahu, Hawaii

The name here is deceiving as THIS is where the famous Bonzai Pipeline with barrel rolls is at. Depending on the day you may see swimmers body surfing with boogie borders and surfers all at the same time or if the waves are big (Mostly during winter months.) you could see monster waves and surfers getting tubed.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Laie Point State Wayside Park, Laie, Oahu, Hawaii

This location was used in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall where she jumped into the water. This is a beautiful rocky point with a long rock in the ocean that has a unique hole in the middle. A perfect photo op and favorite off the beaten path for many.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Diamond Head Crater, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii

For those not wanting to hike Diamond Head but would like to at least see the iconic crater, we can drive inside the volcano which is unique in itself.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Green World Coffee Farms, Wahiawa, Oahu, Hawaii

A must stop for coffee drinkers and indulge in a free sample of the many blends of coffee offered here. See the coffee plant and taste the red cherries before they go into the roaster. Wonder what they taste like? There is a small gift shop with fresh roasted coffee and coffee themed gifts as well as chocolate covered coffee.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Haleiwa Alii Beach Park, Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii

Alii Beach Park is the first stop of the Van's Triple Crown of Surfing contest but it is just as popular yet not as regularly visited for the green sea turtles that bask in the sun on the beach or swim around eating algae off the reefs. Some have even snorkeled with turtles here!

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Ted's Bakery

Home of the famous Chocolate Haupia Cream pie known for it's light taste, not too sweet. A must stop.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Leonard's Bakery

This bakery has been around since 1952 and there is a reason for that. NO one makes a Malasadas donut like they do. Custard filled are my favorite but they also have chocolate and coconut filled as well as plain. Served hot.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Haleiwa Town Center, Haleiwa, Oahu, Hawaii

Shop till you drop! Also the home of the oldest surf shop in Hawaii. A historical town where all the buildings look like they were built in the 1920's. Also home of Shave Ice and Big Wave Garlic Shrimp truck rated in the top 25 of the Food Network.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Ko Hana Distillers, Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii

If you like rum, this is a must stop. For $10 you sample 4 blends of rum made from sugar cane juice, try some tasty run bread and rum flavored honey. AND, your $10 tasting fee goes towards a bottle of rum. This stop become a favorite by many.

Hear the untold stories of experienced pilots and aviation crew members on a 90-minute guided tour of the Pacific Aviation Museum on Ford Island, Hawaii. Step back in time with guides who shed light on key moments throughout 70 years of Pacific aviation history. Explore the Lt Ted Shealy Restoration Shop, occupying a former WWII hangar still riddled with bullets from the December 7, see footage of the 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and enjoy general admission to the rest of the museum.

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at one of America’s most historic sites — Hawaii’s Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor — on a 90-minute Aviator’s Tour.
Join veteran docents (resident experts) on a journey back in time and into Hangars 37 and 79, two still-intact WWII hangars that housed both the aircraft and the heroes of the War of the Pacific. Hangar 79 is the restoration hangar and a battlefield survivor that still bears the scars of the December 7 attack. Today it features a 1940s Carrier Aircraft Service Unit (CASU) rebuilt to wartime authenticity. Here, you can view various aircrafts being restored with WWII tools and see those awaiting restoration.
Your Aviator's Tour ticket also includes full general admission to the museum and its exhibits, including MiG Alley, the museum store, and the award winning Pearl Harbor documentary East Wind, Rain.
