Paddle deep into the heart of the island on this kayaking Kauai adventure, all the way to the shadow of Mt Wai'ale'ale. After an easy paddle upstream, you'll tie your kayaks to a tree and take a somewhat rugged and very beautiful 1 mile (1.6km) hike to a dramatic 100' (30 meter) waterfall. Sit on some big basalt boulders at the bottom of the pool and savor a delicious picnic lunch while enjoying the stunning scenery that surrounds you. Then, hike back down to the ruddered tandem open cockpit kayaks for some more fun paddling!
As you pass through this spectacular and interesting valley by kayak and on foot, your guide will be sharing the mana'o (knowledge) of the island. You'll be filled in on the history of ancient Kauai and how the Ali'i (royalty) and Maka'ainana (common people) lived and played here long ago. You'll learn about the unique and unusual medicinal and food plants that inhabit Kauai's Wailua River Valley, as well as identifying many beautiful ornamental plants, both native and introduced. All this will take place as you get to know each other and have some laughs in this incredible setting.
The return part of this kayaking Kauai tour is downstream, but into the trade winds, giving you a bit of a workout on this leg of the journey. This 7-mile (11km) kayak tour is a day packed full of fun, excitement and adventure. Savor the magnificent views, breathtaking scenery, and hidden beaches of Kauai's pristine South Shore. You may catch a glimpse of some spinner dolphins, sea turtles, seals and even humpback whales!

After launching from Kukui'ula Small Boat Harbor, you'll pass the famous Spouting Horn, a remarkable salt-water blowhole. After about 45 minutes, you'll surf your kayaks up on the beach at Lawa'i Kai, the exquisitely beautiful site of Queen Emma's Summer Home. Take a stroll on the beach and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and delicious muffins.
You'll continue downwind, past the white sand beaches, barrier reefs, and volcanic craters of Palama's Point. As you paddle, you'll be hoping to see interesting marine life, such as the spinner dolphin or endangered sea turtle, both common in this area. During the months of November through April, you also run the chance of getting a glimpse of migratory humpback whales.
After 7 miles (11km) of paddling, you'll be ready for lunch. You'll land at Wahi'awa, a protected bay, to relax, eat, and explore. You'll have the opportunity to comb the ¼ mile (0.4km) crescent-shaped sandy paradise, play in the water and snorkel the fringes of the bay. Meanwhile, your guide will lay out a tasty picnic lunch with a scrumptious brownie that may inspire an afternoon nap!
Around mid-afternoon after another brief paddle, your driver will arrive to whisk you away on your return to the Poipu resort area.

Give scuba diving a go on a 5-hour introductory course in Oahu. Get fitted with equipment and head out to the boat to learn basic skills as well as a few diving dos and don'ts. Visit a dive site where you’ll spend some time getting comfortable in the water. Afterward, explore the underwater world of a coral reef alongside your expert instructor, swim in an area known for sea turtles, eels, octopuses, and other fascinating marine life.

Meet your expert instructor in Waikiki at approximately 10:15 am. Begin your course with a visit to the dive shop, where you’ll fill out the necessary paperwork and get fitted with equipment.
Afterward, head to the boat for an instructor-led briefing, which serves to highlight scuba diving basics including how to communicate underwater. Then, it’s off to a nearby dive site.
Start out in shallow water on a line that is connected from the boat to the bottom of the sea. Practice a few of your learned skills and spend some time getting comfortable before heading out on your first unassisted scuba dive.
Follow your instructor on a guided underwater tour around a coral reef, swim in an area known for sea creatures like turtles, octopus and eels. Pop up to switch tanks, then it’s time for another go.

This tour is for certified tour divers looking for an adventure on the Island of Oahu. You will be taken to two different locations on this wreck and reef dive.

The day starts with a 7:15am pickup in Waikiki from your centrally located hotel. Then your group will head back to the dive shop. There you will get fitted with equipment and head out to one of the two boats. Either out of Kewalo Basin aboard the Snoopy V, where you can see the Sea Tiger or YO-257 to start or you head out to Hawaii Kai to see the Corsair or Baby Barge!
This is all considered to be some of the best wreck diving in Hawaii! You will follow these dives with shallow reef dives or drift dives along Portlock Wall. one these dives it is common to see turtles, eels, octopus, spotted eagle rays and many other forms of sea life. Do you want to go scuba diving on vacation but don't have time for a scuba certification? Then this tour is for you! This Honolulu SCUBA company offers this program from a custom 37-foot dive boat. You can try scuba at one of the worlds premier dive destinations. While not a scuba certification course, this tour is a quick and easy introduction to the underwater world, all while under the direct supervision of a PADI dive instructor - giving you a fun and safe introduction to the underwater world.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Waikiki in our air conditioned 10 passenger vans and transported to the dive shop, only a ten minute ride. Once at the dive shop you will meet your Scuba Instructor for the day and be personally fitted with all the required scuba equipment that you will need. Next, is a five minute ride to the boat harbor where you will meet the captain and board our custom 37 foot dive vessel.
The boat departs the dock and makes the short run to the days first dive site. While underway the dive instructor will brief you on the days activity. Going into detail about the site you will be diving, the water conditions for the day and what marine life you can expect to see. Endemic tropical fish, octopus and the Hawaiian green sea turtle are not uncommon sites.
Once you arrive at the dive site your instructor will assist you in donning your scuba equipment and give you further instruction as well as a skill demonstration in its use. Next up is your first breath underwater, a truly amazing experience! Your instructor will then take you on a guided tour of Hawaii's underwater landscape. Marvel as you fly weightless through the water over colorful coral reefs teeming with beautiful marine life.
When its time to return to the surface your Captain and dive instructor will assist you in returning to the boat, where there are drinks and snacks provided. After a short interval on the surface, perfect for working on your tan, you will return to the underwater world to experience another amazing scuba dive.
